Black Canyon

Launch: Base of Hoover Dam at 7:00 AM PST
Camp: One night
Takeout: Willow Beach between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM PST
Paddling Distance: 12 miles
Rating: Moderate to Strenuous
Minimum Group Size: 2 people
Permits: Required for Hoover Dam launch. Jerkwater will order permits upon booking.
Adult Permit: $30 (+6% surcharge)
Youth Permit: $15 (+6% surcharge)
NPS Passes: Save $15 on adult permits
Availability: Also offered as a one-day or three-day trip (see One Day Trips or Three Day Trips for pricing).
Return Transportation: Provided for Standard Trips.

Topock Marina to Mesquite Bay

Launch:
7:30 AM PST (April-October)
7:00 AM PST (November-March) at Topock Marina
Route: Paddle through Topock Gorge, past Castle Rock, and into the legal camping area.
Camp: One night
Takeout: Mesquite Bay, around noon
Minimum Group Size: 2 people

Unavailable Trips

Needles to Castle Rock (No longer available)
Itinerary: First day: Needles to Park Moabi. Second day: Topock Gorge.
Features: This was our most popular two-day trip, with camping at Park Moabi. Paddle back into your camp on the first day and out on the second.
Services: Return transportation provided for Standard Trips.
Minimum Group Size: 2 people
Note: Unfortunately, tent camping is no longer allowed along this portion of the river. We do not know when or if this situation may change.
Reverse Two-Day Trip (No longer available)
Itinerary: The same as Needles to Castle Rock, but in reverse. Paddle Topock Gorge on the first day and the shorter Needles to Park Moabi section on the second.
Features: Ideal for those who need to start home early on the second day.
Minimum Group Size: 2 people
